Jambo Forum - VP KALONZO, KENYANS AND PEACE

Phil,

Thanks for the question and welcome to the land of the weary and tired. RELIGION has never made sense (check history books for evidence). Someone summarized that "Religion is Man's attempt to reach/understand God" In this sense, Christianity of the kind propagated by Jesus Christ (the only kind that I know of) is the opposite of the dogma religion. Christianity of Jesus Christ entails 'God reaching out to man'. That is, this Christianity is actually anti-religion (infact they were so anti that the religious order of the day crucified Jesus).

Now to heaven/paradise: If God exists, then there sure is a heaven/paradise as that (paradise/heaven) is the realm where God is. But then, God is a Spirit and He doesn't reside in a physical realm. Alas, He is everywhere and therefore paradise/heaven is everywhere (but you have to have the right frequency to tap into the heavens/paradise--just like the radio waves are right everywhere but you need the right tools/equipment at the right wavelength to tap into any). My, God was/is and therefore heaven/paradise is/was where that little baby remained crying by the murdered mother in Nakuru, where the black charred remains of people 'cuddled' in various 'worship' postures in a burned house in Naivasha, where the wheel-chair bound lady and her neighbors huddled in a 'raptured worship' as they awaited reduction to ashes in Eldoret--aye--these are/were Holy places where the Allmighty touched down to see His creation in action. To go to paradise/heaven (where God is), follow Jesus Christ who said that He is the Way to where God is. Some paradox: We go to God by accepting what Jesus Did (i.e., in God's terms) not ours. He (Jesus) offered some practical 'strategies' for getting there--non of them include the Kalonzo way (pragmatic means of knowing this include examining the 'fruits' --The Bible says we shall know His followers by their fruits). My suggestion is that you follow Jesus of Nazareth--He is more proven than Mr. Mutisya.

In the meantime, strive to shun evil and wickedness as you pray for Kenya and TRUST GOD--He knows what is going on in Kenya just as He knew that is was coming decades ago (there were prophesies by one of God's messengers to that effect decades ago--but then they appeared like the 'yappings of an old and ignorant man'). BTW: the story goes that this prophet also foretold of 'gathering evil clouds' around the late T.J. Mboya and he sought to pray with him but it is alleged that the minister cheduled this (prayer) for after a return from the important international meeting and by the time the late minister's father sought the lowly village preacher--it was too late. So let's not be too late with our prayers for Kenya.

The Mungiki spirit is a nasty lot--and when it is done with the non-GEMA blood, it will move to the next warm blood on its way just as the other rogue spirits are hell-bent on their warm blood guggling rampage. Evil spirits have no freinds -- they only use human beings as vehicles to convey them as they perform their duties (kill, steal, and destroy) and you facilitate their activities if you accomodate them, fund them, welcome them, etc. While political prayer(s) may abound, heart-to-heart travail before God may seem like a luxury to some of us in our still-functioning offices/homes or nice warm peaceful foreign auditoriums shelling out mint $$/Euro/Sterling pounds currencies to fund the bloodletting machinery against God's creation in Kenya. Clever ones may even twist the tool (prayer) for their equally diabolical 'thrills' thinking that God is impressed by our pilgrimage to DC in the name of prayer. Phil, God is not mocked-- Heaven/paradise is by the filthy rot where the dying are gasping for their last breathes all over Kenya in the hands of self-proclaimed high priests of whatever tribe they fancy-- Indeed, I believe these 'holly' places are more hallowed this hour than anywhere else Kalonzo may go.

I took the liberty to expound on God/religion/heaven/paradise because you asked my opinion.

On aside note: My part-time profession demands that I keep on top of news/data on emerging markets-- if you happen to know anyone going to DC could you ask Mr. Mutisya the exchange rate between the $ and his neighboring country's (Nyanza) currency (NSH) please? I hear that 'country' (Nyanza) is an emerging economy and a good FDI speculative bet --off course one will have to navigate through the difficult Rift-Valley country first--after landing in Coast country so it is important to have a few Rift Valley Shillings (RVSH) as well as some Coast Shillings (CSH). Though some indications show that the old Kenya Shilling is still widely acceptable in Central country and that their Central Shilling (CTSH) is not a bad currency to hold either. Any info from a holder of any of the above currencies would be appreciated.

Thanks and Peace,

Lucy

Lucy,

I sometimes wonder if religion makes sense anymore.  Is there a Heaven and who is really going?....I should follow Kalonzo if I wish to see God's face?..

I was just wondering out loud!

FORWARDED MESSAGES

As you may be aware, His Excellency the Vice President Kalonzo Muysyoka, will be in Washington , DC to participate in an activity that is part of his life: Annual National Prayer Breakfast Meeting. Later in the evening the Embassy will be hosting him because Kalonzo would like to meet us (see email No. 1 from the Embassy).

As you can see, our VP is working but not everybody is happy. He wants to meet Kenyans but others would rather spoil. Some ODM supporters want to do something different (scroll down and see the email No. 2).

Pick up the phone and inform people who support a Working Nation to attend and support our VP. Let us preach peace and remind those who are of the view that the election was rigged that we have a constitution which has guided us for 44 years. We should respect the rule of law and our court system. Burning human beings, murdering, raping, destroying our economy and going to the streets is not the answer. If some Kenyan leaders fail to respect our laws, what would happen if they are allowed to lead the nation?

Email No. 1

CALLING ON ALL ODM SUPPORTERS TO A PROTEST MARCH ON FEBRUARY 6TH. FROM 5:30 PM TO 8:00 PM

Dear ODM Supporter

It has been brought to our attention, that Mr. Kalonzo Musyoka, the MP for Mwingi North will visit Washington, DC from February 5th-7th, 2008 to attend the Annual National Prayer Breakfast Meeting. Ambassador Rateng Ogego has scheduled a meeting for Wednesday, February 6th, 2008 at The Ritz Carlton , 1150 22nd St NW , Washington , DC from 5:30 pm. to 8:00 pm.

We are calling on all ODM supporters to show up in large numbers for this "VERY IMPORTANT MEETING" with Kalonzo. This is the opportunity to tell Kalonzo, that;

  • He represents an illegitimate government.
  • He is part and parcel of the problem in our country.
  • He asked for fake results to be released.
  • Kenyans in the Diaspora Demand Justice.
  • There will be NO PEACE so long as an illegitimate government is in place. KIBAKI MUST RESIGN

Fellow citizens, we can only speak with one voice for one party to demand that what has been stolen from us must be returned without any conditions. We cannot negotiate with a THIEF.

See you at the Ritz Carlton on the 6th.
